School Admission and Student Records Software
New families fill an online admission form. Every student's details sit in one record that attendance, fees and parent login all use. Your existing students come in from your spreadsheet, without retyping.
Admission paperwork, without the paper pile
Admissions season usually means printed forms, photocopies, and an office assistant typing each new student into a register or a spreadsheet. Details get copied wrongly. The same family's phone number ends up written three different ways in three places. By the time attendance and fee collection start, nobody is sure which list is the right one.
Admission and student-records software gives each student one record from the first day. Everything else, such as attendance, fees and the parent's login, works from that record.
How admissions work in EduTechMonitor
1. An online admission form for new families. Parents fill in the admission form online instead of on paper, and their details reach your school's records in EduTechMonitor. The office reviews them instead of retyping them.
2. One record per student. Each student's details live in one place: class and section, parent details and contact number. The same record is used for daily attendance, fees and receipts, the class timetable and parent login. Correct a phone number once and it is correct everywhere.
3. Bring your existing students in from a spreadsheet. You don't start from an empty system. EduTechMonitor can import a student list from a spreadsheet. During setup, our team does that first import together with your office. Our guide How to import student data from Excel into school software shows how to prepare the sheet so the import is clean.
4. Parents get their own login. Once a student is in EduTechMonitor, the parent can log in with a one-time password sent by SMS to their registered mobile number. They can see attendance, the timetable and fees. That is why a correct mobile number in the admission record matters.
5. Separate records for each branch. For a trust running several schools or branches, each branch keeps its own students under its own admin. See multi-branch schools.

Good habits for admission data
Whatever software you use, a few habits keep student records clean:
- Give every student a unique admission number and never reuse it.
- Write class and section the same way every time.
- Check the parent's mobile number at the admission desk, while the parent is in front of you.
- Spell the child's name the way it should appear on receipts and certificates.
