Coaching Centre Management Software, Alongside School Classes
Many schools also run tuition, foundation or entrance-coaching batches. EduTechMonitor runs those batches in the same system as school classes, so a student has one record whether they are in Class 9 or in an evening batch.
School and coaching, usually in two places
Across Karnataka and the rest of India, many schools run coaching alongside the school day: evening tuition, foundation batches for Classes 8 to 10, or NEET and JEE preparation for Classes 11 and 12. Usually the school runs on one system or register and the coaching runs on another, often a separate spreadsheet, a notebook of fee entries, or a separate coaching app. The same child ends up with two records, two fee books and two phone numbers on file.
School software rarely handles coaching batches, and coaching apps don't handle school records. EduTechMonitor does both in one system.
How coaching works in EduTechMonitor
1. Coaching batches next to school classes. Set up your coaching batches in the same EduTechMonitor account as your school classes.
2. One student record. A school student who joins a coaching batch is enrolled from their existing record. You don't create a second profile with different spellings and phone numbers.
3. Coaching fees, separate from school fees. Coaching fees are set up separately from the school fee structure. Payments are recorded against the student, and the office prints a receipt, just as it does for school fees.
4. Students from outside the school. If your batches also take students who are not in your school, bring them in through the same admission and student-records process. See admissions and student records.
5. Branches and centres. If your trust runs coaching at several branches, each branch works under its own admin. See multi-branch schools.
Batch-wise attendance and reporting for coaching depend on how your batches are organised. Ask us to show your own batch setup in the demo before you decide. We would rather show you than describe it.

Price, refund and support
Coaching batches are part of the single EduTechMonitor plan, SGMS, not a paid add-on. It costs ₹1,20,000 a year + 18% GST for up to 250 students. Above 250 students, it is ₹20 per student per month + GST. If it doesn't suit you, ask for a full refund within 21 days of your first payment. Full details are on our school management software page.

Can a school run coaching batches in EduTechMonitor?
Yes. School classes and coaching batches can be run in the same EduTechMonitor system, using the same student records.
Can we charge separate fees for coaching batches?
Yes. Coaching fees are set up separately from school fees, payments are recorded against the student and receipts can be printed.
Does EduTechMonitor have online tests, live classes or study material for coaching?
No. Online tests, live or recorded classes, study material and rank lists are not available in EduTechMonitor today.
Is there a branded mobile app for our coaching centre?
No. EduTechMonitor does not offer a mobile app or a branded app today. It works in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer.
Is coaching included in the EduTechMonitor price?
Yes. There is one plan, SGMS, at Rs 1,20,000 a year plus 18% GST for up to 250 students and Rs 20 per student per month plus GST above that. Coaching batches are part of it, not a paid add-on.
