UGC-NET December 2026: form correction window open till 4 November (11:50 PM)
NTA has opened a one-time correction window for UGC-NET December 2026 application forms from 2 to 4 November 2026 (up to 11:50 PM) on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. You can change your exam city choices; your date of birth, gender, category, sub-category/PwBD (if not verified through the UDID portal) and subject; and any ONE of candidate's name, father's name or mother's name. Mobile number, e-mail, address, photograph and signature cannot be changed. The exam is scheduled for 14 to 18 and 21 December 2026, as per the Information Bulletin and NTA's exam calendar (NTA's first notice of 8 October had shown 14 to 19 December). Exam city intimation: 23 November 2026. Admit card: 7 December 2026.

What to do
- Log in at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and check every detail of your form before 4 November 2026, 11:50 PM.
- Make all your changes in one go: you can submit corrections only once, and then the form is frozen.
- If a change raises your fee, pay the extra amount by card, net banking or UPI; the change counts only after payment. Fees already paid are not refunded.
- NTA is not bound to give you the city you choose.
