JEE Main 2027 Session 1: made a mistake in the form? NTA now allows a fresh application

NTA's notice of 30 October 2026 allows candidates who made errors in the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 form to submit a fresh application, even after paying. Only the last form with successful fee payment and a Confirmation Page counts. The fee paid on an earlier form is not refunded or adjusted. Last date: 22 November 2026 (11:50 PM), or 23 to 26 November 2026 with late fee.

What to do

  1. If you only need to change a few details, wait for the correction window, 27 to 29 November 2026, instead of filling a new form.
  2. If you fill a fresh form, upload the photo, signature and documents again and complete the fee payment; a new Application Number is created.
  3. Download the Confirmation Page of the final form. That is the only valid one.
  4. Never appear in the same session with two Application Numbers: NTA treats it as unfair means.
