CBSE Class 10 and 12: last chance to correct LOC details, 2 to 7 November 2026

CBSE has opened a correction window for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2026-27, from 2 November to 7 November 2026. Schools can correct a student's name, parents' names, date of birth or subjects. CBSE says no correction will be made after this window. (The notice prints the end date as 07.11.2025; 7 November 2026 is the Saturday after the window opens, which matches the notice.)

What to do

  1. Parents: ask your child's school for the data verification slip and check the name, date of birth, mother's name and father's name.
  2. Make sure names are written in full, not short forms, because later documents need the full name.
  3. Check that the surname is included, especially if your child may study or travel abroad.
  4. Tell the school about any mistake before 7 November 2026. The school makes the correction; CBSE will not accept changes later.
