CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2026 for Classes 8–10: schools must register by 18 November
CBSE's Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2026 is a maths competition for all Class VIII–X students in CBSE-affiliated schools. Students cannot register themselves — the school registers on the AGC portal (link on cbseacademic.nic.in) between 4 and 18 November 2026. Stage 1 is a free test held by the school using a CBSE paper (paper and answer keys available to schools on 25–26 November 2026); each school picks its top three students. Schools register those three for Stage 2 from 27 to 30 November 2026 (Rs 900 per school, non-refundable), and Stage 2 is a national computer-based test on 2 December 2026. Both stages: 1 hour, 40 marks, multiple-choice only, no negative marking. Topics: geometry, quantitative aptitude, algebra, data and probability, number system, mensuration. The top 100 students in every CBSE region get a Merit Certificate.
